NCFA’s main Areas of Work consist of the following: Formulating and Analyzing Legislation, Early Childhood, Family Protection against Violence, Family Counseling, Senior Citizens, Studies and Research.

In order to achieve its mission, NCFA is contributing to formulate and steer policies, as well as support efforts that aim to enhance the status of the Jordanian family, optimize its role and preserve its values and heritage.

The National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) was established by Royal Decree under Law No. 27 for the year 2001 under which His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein entrusted Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah to head its Board of Trustees to find a better environment that enable Jordanian family to achieve stability and well-being.
