Family Counseling Center opens in Ajloun

With the attendance of the Secretary-General of the Islamic Center Charitable Society (ICC) Dr. Jaber Abu Al-Haijah, Head of the Administrative Board in the ICC Dr. Jameel Ad-Dhaisat, former MP Dr. Mohammad Ta'ameh Al-Qudah, Director of the Islamic Center in Ajloun Mohammad Al-Qudah and other public figures, NCFA Secretary-General Fadel Al-Hmoud inaugurated a new family counseling center in the Islamic Center in Ajloun.
During the opening, Al-Hmoud indicated that NCFA, headed by HM Queen Rania Al-Abdullah president of the Board of Trustees, has given great care to family counseling issues, noting that since its establishment in 2010 it has worked rigorously to promote this concept emphasizing its preventive and remedial aspects.
NCFA has so far opened 10 centers across the governorates of Amman, Balqa, Irbid, Mafraq, Karak, Aqaba, Maan and Ajloun, added Al-Hmoud, noting that these centers have helped reduce the pressures and problems facing the families with the help and partnership of leading national institutions who have all worked to provide services to our citizens.
Dr. Dhaisat said that opening the center in Ajloun is part of ICC's plans and programs which aim to provide quality services to citizens across Jordan and enhance social and family peace, commending HM Queen Rania's efforts and keenness to ensure the provision of best quality of services to the citizens.
During the ceremony, Mohammad Al-Qudah gave a briefing on the center's programs and goals followed by an overview given by the social care specialist Hidayah Al-Qudah on the new center and its services centered on the provision of family counseling, safe family environments and awareness programs that address family problems.
The ceremony included a selection of national songs and a poem presented by youth committee member, Shurouq Al-Zgoul and other children about the mother and family in addition to some sketches and a short video on the center's activities across the governorate.
