Minister of Social Development Reem Abu Hassan presented on Saturday certificates of appreciation to participants in the Youth Project supervised by the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA).
The Youth Project includes a group of children and young people from both sexes representing different social segments and geographical areas of the Kingdom who have taken part in various specialized training workshops in leadership, follow-up and assessment skills and have been accredited by the centre to assist it in its work. With the help of the young participants, the centre hopes to exercise pressure on decision-makers with regard to many issues that concern the family and childhood.
During the ceremony organized by NCFA and attended by NCFA Secretary General Fadel Al-Hmoud and representatives from various civil society organizations concerned with childhood, Abu Hassan expressed her appreciation for the 25 participants and wished them more achievements in their pursuit to build a better and stronger Jordan.
Some of the participants shared with the audience the experiences and skills that they have acquired through the project which had a positive impact on their academic careers and their voluntary social work.
