Council of Ministers Approves National Strategy for Juvenile Justice

The Council of Ministers on Sunday approved the National Strategy for Juvenile Justice for 2024-2028. During a session chaired by Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, the Council of Ministers tasked the National Council for Family Affairs with disseminating the strategy to relevant ministries and public and private institutions so that it can be implemented and adopted within executive action plans.

The strategy aims to contribute to reducing the incidence of juvenile delinquency cases, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of ensuring justice in investigation and trial procedures for this group, improving their rehabilitation in line with best international practices, integrating juveniles in need of protection and care, and improving the level of services provided to them.
