NCFA signs cooperation agreement to establish a nursey in Pine Tree
Under NCFA' project "support and activation of the establishment of nurseries in the private sector" which enhances the participation of women in the labor market, a cooperation agreement was signed between NCFA and Pine Tree Company for Textile Manufacturing to establish a crèche in the company. The signing was attended by NCFA's Secretary-General Fadel Al-Hmoud, the General Director of the Employment, Technical and Vocational Education Training (E-TVET) Fund which funds NCFA's project and the Director of Pine Tree Company, Muath As-Sa'aydah.
The agreement aims to increase women's options for joining the labor market by removing obstacles and offering flexible choices and appropriate working environment that can enhance their participation, offer job stability for the family and at the same time protect the rights of the child by providing early childhood services and proper care through the establishment of safe and suitable nurseries in their mothers' work place. The establishment of the nurseries is based on a methodology that complies with international and national standards and meets the needs of the children from birth to four years of age.
NCFA has worked to train and qualify 140 female employment seekers specialized in childhood and other related fields who were listed under the Civil Service Bureau register with a view to employ them in the 80 nurseries established under the project.
