NCFA signs two agreements to establish nurseries at workplaces

NCFA signed two cooperation agreements with Jordan Post and Landmark Amman Hotel to establish two institutional nurseries under the "Support and Activation of the Establishment of Nurseries in Private Sector" Project which aims to boost women participation in the workforce.
The signing of the agreement was attended by NCFA Secretary-General Fadel AL-Hmoud, Acting General Manager, Maher Mohammad Qasim and the General Manager of Jordan Holiday Hotels Company owner of Landmark Amman Hotel Aysar Batayneh.
The agreements aim to increase Jordanian woman's options in the labor market by eliminating obstacles that stand in her way and by providing flexible work choices and suitable working environment which will eventually help boost women participation in the workforce and achieve job stability for families in general. They also seek to protect child rights, offering early childhood services and proper care through the establishment of safe and child-appropriate nurseries at the workplace in accordance with internationally and nationally approved standards that meet child needs within the age group from birth to four years of age
