Regional seminar in Isra' University on family counseling and conciliation

In cooperation with NCFA and the Jordanian Association for Family Training and Conciliation the University of Isra' organized a regional seminar under the title "Family counseling and conciliation and their role in the preservation of the family".
During the seminar attended by judges, academics and experts from Arab countries, Dr. Mohammed Miqdady NCFA Secretary-General said that the Council encourages family-oriented programs and activities and the prioritization of family counseling which can help maintain the stability and happiness of the family through its preventive and curative aspects.
Representing Isra' University, Dean of Faculty of Arts Dr. Zuhreyah Abdel-Haq underlined the role played by the University in the domain of childhood, saying that it has made significant contributions in the area of childhood in response to Royal directives that were centered on this stage of life, being the most critical and Influential years in the shaping of the child's growth and development.
On his part, President of the Association Dr. Ahmad Abu Rumman underscored the University's role in the areas of family counseling and training through their support for the association's program in humanitarian services and by making best use of the University's capabilities for the interests of social and developmental work within the local community.
The seminar included working papers on several family themes including family counseling, marriage, family violence, role of universities in family counseling and the participatory approach adopted in family protection departments and family counseling training centers.
